Hello Friends, School Administrators and Community Leaders:

The Kappa Foundation of Fort Washington, Inc. (KFFW), is a 501 (c)(3) organization established in 2012 with a primary mission of performing charitable and educational services within the Fort Washington and surrounding areas.  One of the Foundation’s annual goals is to provide Scholarships and other financial and academic support to high school and undergraduate students in Fort Washington and nearby communities. 

KFFW is proud to present the 2024 Scholarship Application. 

To qualify for this annual Scholarship, the following criteria must be met:

1.      Must be a 2024 graduating male senior.

2.      Must have attended school in Southern Prince George’s County or Charles County.

3.      Must have earned a cumulative 2.5 Minimum G.P.A. (please provide a transcript with the application) and

4.      Must submit a typed 5 paragraph essay on the topic: “Obtaining a College Degree is Critical to My Future”.

5.      Submit a final transcript at the end of the academic year.

Applications should be completed and submitted on the KFFW website at:

The completed application, including the essay must be submitted by April 1, 2024.  If you have any questions, please email the KFFW Scholarship Committee at scholarships@kffw.org.
